CNA Announces EZ Approach for E&O Coverages

05/19/2011

Simple application process now available to MPL, Media and Technology.

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CNA recently extended its EZ underwriting process to its suite of Errors and Omissions coverages such as miscellaneous professional liability, media liability and monoline technology errors and omissions. Using the EZ underwriting process now makes obtaining a quote for these coverages as easy as downloading an application, completing it and sending to a local CNA underwriter who will respond within 24 hours.

CNA first released the EZ underwriting process for Epack® – covering D&O, EPL and fiduciary liability – in 2007. Today, this EZ process is available for professionals and companies with a total of up to $5 million in revenues, including startups, where senior management has three years of previous experience.

“Our producers have expressed satisfaction with our deployment of the EZ process to Epack; so, it made sense for us to extend this time-saving process to other coverages,” said Michelle Aliperti, assistant vice president - Underwriting, CNA.

Like CNA’s Epack EZ® and Epack Extra EZ®, the EZ process is available in all 50 states. Some qualifying classes of business include: MPL – answering services, non-medical billing services, call centers, direct mail/fulfillment, meeting/event planners; temporary staffing and travel agents; Media – advertisers, broadcasters, publishers, audio/visual production, graphic designers, marketing/branding and website design; Tech E&O - computer/network integration, hardware manufacturers, internet service providers, telephone/cellular services and voice over IP services.
