Employees in CNA’s Risk Control Unit Receive Lean, Green Certification

02/15/2011

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CNA is dedicated to finding techniques to help keep its customers safe and productive. Recently, CNA’s Risk Control unit announced that 32 employees have become certified Lean green belts, per the Institute of Industrial Engineering’s Lean manufacturing training.

Lean certification focuses on making small process improvements to eliminate waste, improve efficiencies and reduce costs. While this method can be used in a variety of industries, it is especially useful for manufacturers as it helps them identify process improvements that, ultimately, can lead to a safer workplace.

This training further distinguishes CNA as a leader in the manufacturing industry and shows CNA’s commitment to its manufacturing customers. For more information on CNA or its risk control solutions for any industry, please visit www.cna.com.
