CNA and FMA Announce 2012 Safety Award Winners; Introduces Rusty Demeules Award for Safety Excellence

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Recently, CNA joined the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Intl.® (FMA) to recognize metal fabrication companies that demonstrate safety excellence. During this year’s FMA Safety Conference, CNA and FMA presented 30 safety awards and introduced the Rusty Demeules Award for Safety Excellence, which recognizes one company that demonstrates an excellent safety record and an established safety culture in the workplace.

Open to all FMA and Tube & Pipe Association, Intl. (TPA) company members, the FMA/CNA Safety Awards include the:

  • Rusty Demeules Award for Safety Excellence – presented to ADM-Mechanical of Decatur, IL.
  • Safety Award of Honor, given to organizations that record no injuries or illnesses during the preceding 12 months – presented to ADM-Mechanical; Big J Enterprises of Albuquerque, NM; JMC Steel Group of Blytheville, AR; JMC Steel Group of Sharon, PA; Main Steel Polishing Co., Inc. of Tinton Falls, NJ; Main Steel Polishing Co., Inc. of Commerce, CA; Main Steel Polishing Co., Inc. of Schiller Park, IL; Nisshin Automotive Tubing, LLC of Versailles, KY; Material Fabricators, Inc. of Buellton, CA; Nova Group, Inc. of Napa, CA; Olympic Steel (5096 Richmond Road) of Bedford Heights, OH; Olympic Steel of Mt.
