CNA Expands Lawyers' Allied Vendor Program

05/12/2015

CHICAGO, May 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CNA today announced that it has expanded its Allied Vendor Program for law firms by adding three companies offering services that help strengthen insureds' risk control programs, providing them needed services outside of the insurance carrier's purview.

"These companies were added to our Allied Vendor Program because they can assist CNA Lawyers Professional Liability policyholders in developing critical programs and procedures that may help them avoid and manage professional liability exposures in their law practices," said Michael Barrett, director of Risk Control for Professional Services, CNA.

CNA's new Lawyers' Allied Vendors include:

Practice Management Software

  • MetaJure is a new generation document management system (DMS) that automatically captures, tags and stores 100 percent of a firm's documents and emails, eliminating the need for lawyers and staff to waste time manually profiling work product.

Docketing/Calendaring & Case Watching

  • CourtAlert, a leader in providing court data and case management software to large law firms and departments, provides a variety of services to meet the needs of clients, such as anonymous electronic watching of any U.S. Federal case, all courts in New York and other jurisdictions as well.

IP Solutions

  • Madridfiler®, the leading trademark automation and refusals management provider, provides critical risk tools for brand owners, trademark agents, lawyers and law firms.

In 2007, CNA developed its Allied Vendor Program to provide its customers with access to additional risk control programming designed to create safer, more secure work environments. This program remains a key resource for providing tools to assist policy holders in mitigating risk and delivering on CNA's commitment to show its customers more than just an insurance policy.

"As a value-added service for our customers, many of these Allied Vendors offer their services at preferred rates for CNA insureds that reference this program," Barrett added.
