June 2, 2 p.m. – Understanding OSHA 1926.1419-1428 Signal Person
Qualification Requirements
The goal of this webinar – which will provide information and training
tools for the qualification requirements of signal persons – is to help
participants promote job safety and gain a better understanding on how
to meet OSHA requirements. In addition to receiving information for use
when conducting classroom training and a sample practical exam,
participants will also receive CNA resources to help them learn how to
comply with these standards.
June 9, 10 a.m. – Preventing Rear-end Vehicle Accidents: Distracted
Driving and In-Cab Policies
Accidents are often caused by distracting driver behaviors such as
eating, drinking, smoking, listening to the radio and completing
paperwork – all of which can affect the cognitive ability of the driver.
This webinar will help participants identify driver distractions and
review controls to help prevent these distractions in order to,
ultimately, prevent crashes.
June 9, 2 p.m. – Understanding OSHA 1926.1400: Crane Standard Overview
OSHA’s new rule covering cranes and derricks in construction is a
comprehensive reform of the crane standard which, as a whole, can be
overwhelming and confusing. This webinar will help participants better
understand this standard’s incorporated dates, certification
requirements and allowable types of training, as well as provide
timelines for various requirements of the standard.
